Next Steps
After reading this book I would like to explore more about what factors can cause people to consider suicide. At this moment and time I can't picture myself ever considering suicide because I love who I am and I love my life. I would also like to learn more about the author, I'm curious as to why he/she chose to write a book like this. I would like to know if he/she knew someone in his/her life who committed suicide and if so I'm curious about how it effects the people around them. I always wondered how someone can actually go through with committing suicide, to me it seems frightening and I feel like there is always another option. Another topic I would like to explore further about is rumors. At some point in my life I would like to explore the idea of rumors in an essay or project etc. Rumors spread so quickly and they are nearly impossible to stop and eliminate. What makes people feel the need to spread rumors? What makes people believe rumors? These are all questions I would like to learn about and explore. In this book there is a large amount of good intentions going wrong, which is why I am doing my essay in class about it. I really want more insight on what causes good intentions to go awry and how to prevent intentions from from having bad results. I hope that when I explore all these topics, I come out with all the information I would like to know so that I can share my new found knowledge with others.
After reading this text, I have learned a lot about how to treat people. I also learned not to wait or stall in showing people that I care for them, it's true that actions speak louder than words and this book helps prove that. It also shows not to take anything for granted because you never know when it might be gone. Overall I am happy that I chose this book and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up reading it again in the future. I would recommend this book to everyone I know, especially people around my age who may be able to relate to it.
